Do you like bread? Bread is very common in Japan today. You can find it at convenience stores, bakeries, and even school lunches. But did you know that long ago, there was no bread in Japan? So how did bread come to Japan? Who brought it, and how did it become so popular? In this lesson, we will read a short story about the history of bread in Japan and learn some easy Japanese words along the way.

Education: M.A. in Japanese (Pedagogy), Florida State University. Certification: Passed Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test. Completed the 420-hour Japanese Language Teacher Training Course.
